Plum Pixie Child Costume – Sovereign Of The Sweets
This is a delightful costume that is presumably inspired by the sugar plum fairy costume from the ballet The Nutcracker. The Sugar Plum Fairy is the 
sovereign of the Sweets (the land of the Sweets). The Nutcracker is a fairy tale of a ballet so it is in keeping with the theme of fairies and pixies. The story begins on Christmas eve so is popular at Christmas time. For little girls interested in pixies, fairies and ballet this is a must have costume. It is ideal to wear just because you want to wear it or at special occasions like birthdays and even Halloween.

Many little girls are introduced to ballet and fall in love with the fine costumes that ballerinas wear. This plum pixie costume is very much in keeping with a ballerina outfit. It obviously comes in a purple or plum color. It comprises a purple dress that looks like a faux fur lined top with wild flowers for decoration. The skirt part of the dress is made up of purple netting.
In keeping with her pixie character, this costume also has iridescent mauve wings with gold swirl patterns. The wings are made of a polyester fabric stretched around a steel frame in the shape of small wings.
The costume is completed by a flower and ribbon headpiece and the all important fairy wand to cast a spell and make your companions fly or some other such wish.

what a cute costume. I can see a little girl loving this costume and not just for Halloween. She will want to play in it when her friends come around. It could double as a pixie or Fairy costume or even a princess depending on the games they were playing.
